A new web comedy series titled "The Agent", is coming to a computer near you. Created by David Winans, and his marketing team at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, David Winans & Associates, "The Agent", showcases a young man who stumbles into the world of becoming a REALTOR, and hilarity ensues.
The series pokes fun a the industry featuring some of the trials and tribulations of an agent's daily life in the field, which at times can be quite funny. Like David Winans says in the above article, a little self-depreciating humor is always healthy.
You can check out The Agent at http://theagent.tv and be sure to watch the rap song and video used to kick off the series "Makin' Money". Funny stuff! And a fun use of video.
Check out the great post above from geekestateblog.com about a great content idea for your real estate blog. If you're looking for some great local community content for your real estate blog, why not create a post listing and reviewing all the various free WiFi spots in your area. This will definitely appeal to the virtual workers (like me), telecommuters, outside sales people and more who are looking for a WiFi hotspot in your community.
This story caught my eye from the Working Mother publication I subscribe to. I usually don't pay attention to what the "Celebrity Moms" are up to in the media because I can hardly relate to them. But Trista Sutter (of the Bachelorette fame) is one that I can identify with. Even though she is a "celebrity", she lives a pretty low-key lifestyle that is somewhat out of the limelight. She is a busy mom of two young ones, has many of the same chores and jobs that us regular everyday-moms have (laundry, housecleaning, chauffeuring children), plus she is involved in different business opportunities while working at home. I like her even more now. :-)
This article is a great read for many work-at-home-moms that are looking to see how others are making it, so go check it out.
This one hails from Mashable, my favorite social media new site. Many people who are new to Twitter, sometimes miss their @ replies or don't know where to find them. So Mashable lists out some good free options to check out.
Go give it a read!
It's quite obvious. The more places your listings show up, the more exposure your listings get. And when partnering with a Real Estate Virtual Assistant, it is our job to make sure your listings get posted everywhere without you having to think about it.
Are you available to your clients 24/7/365? Have you tried but burned out? Balance in business and life is a good thing. I run into this in my own business. I've had past clients think that because their business is 24/7, mine should be too. No thanks! (notice I said past clients) It really is a good idea to set regular business hours and to set good boundries with your clients.
This is a great post on this from Active Rain. Now go read it!
